A rare nugget !
Samuele once again breaks the clichés about Ticino with this micro-cuvée of chardonnay matured under veil. Like the great whites of the Jura, a thin layer of yeast has formed naturally on the surface of the wine in the barrel to protect it from oxidation. It’s this risky but controlled ageing that gives this wine its fine flinty notes and a complex, sharp expression of minerality.
